Free Radical pollution suggests link to asthma

New research discovery by Ms Duanne Sigmund, PhD student with the Free Radicals COE located at the Bio21 Institute, free radical link suggested between pollution and asthma.  The story has been picked up by both national and international media outlets. The new research has found that the atmospheric nitrate radical irreversibly damages amino acids, which are the building blocks for proteins in the human body.
